Butcher block is warm and fully repairable — damage sands out and re-oils. Wood and water do not mix, so the sink cut-out and any run beside a dishwasher must be sealed carefully.
Butcher block countertops cost CAD $52–$68 per square foot installed, the least expensive option we fabricate. Wood is repairable by sanding but must be kept sealed around sinks.
Fabricated on our own CNC saw and waterjet, edge-finished by hand, and installed by our own crews with a 15-year transferable warranty.
