Our Warranties
Imperial Kitchen Plus provides a 15-year transferable countertop warranty covering fabrication defects, seam separation and installation workmanship, plus a 5-year warranty on sprayed cabinet finishes covering adhesion failure, peeling and yellowing.
Two warranties, one company
Because Imperial Kitchen Plus fabricates, sprays and installs with its own people, the warranty covers the whole job rather than pointing between a supplier and an installer.
Countertops — 15 years, transferable
- Fabrication defects, including edge finish and polish quality
- Seam separation and seam failure
- Installation workmanship, including levelling and support
- Manufacturer material warranty on engineered quartz, passed through in full
Sprayed cabinet finishes — 5 years, transferable
- Adhesion failure, flaking and peeling
- Yellowing of white and off-white finishes
- Finish cracking at door joints under normal use
What neither warranty covers
- Impact chips and cracks from dropped objects
- Heat damage from placing hot cookware directly on engineered quartz
- Etching of marble or limestone from acidic liquids
- Damage from water ingress, steam appliances vented at door level, or structural movement of the cabinets
- Abrasive cleaners, bleach, ammonia and oven cleaner on any surface
Transferring it
Both warranties transfer once to a new homeowner at no cost. Email us the address and the closing date and we will reissue the certificate.
